Do you store containers?

Yes, at our own yard. We handle import and export containers: collected from the wharf, stored at our yard, and delivered when you're ready, or held and run back to the port for export. Tell us how many boxes, what size and roughly how long, and we'll price it.

Yes. Import and export containers through the Port of Melbourne, plus empty container parks and metro depots. Twenty-foot and forty-foot, loaded or empty, on skels, with storage at our own yard when the box isn't needed straight away.

Melbourne metro and the industrial corridors daily: Dandenong South, Truganina, Laverton North, Derrimut, Altona North, Somerton and Epping. Regional Victoria on schedule, interstate lanes to Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, and import and export work Australia-wide.

Do you take subcontract work from other carriers?

Yes, a lot of our work comes from other transport companies. If you're short a truck for a run, or you've taken on freight outside your own equipment, that's normal work for us.

What do you need to give me a price?

Accepted Answer

The two postcodes, what the freight is, its weight and dimensions, and when it needs to move. If there's anything unusual about the sites, like a tight driveway, no forklift or restricted hours, tell us up front and the quote will hold.

Most quotes are answered within a couple of business hours. If it's urgent, ring rather than email.

Are you insured and compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We're insured for the freight we carry, and we'll email current certificates of currency before you book. Driving hours and load restraint are managed to NHVR rules, so the paperwork stands up.
